hey you don't know me but I'm a Friend of Kiwi's I stumbled upon your LJ and this entry sparked an interest with me. You see my brother is also over in the JET program only stationed in Moriyama-shi instead of Kyoto. He is only a 20 minute train ride away though. He has been complaining about the gender roles over ther recently and how when he played basketball with the girls what happened.

Anyway Sorry for intrusing but if you get a chance I'd love to hear some of your stories.
