Had my post-op check up today.  The doc pulled out the packing that was in my ear.  I can hear a little but maybe only a slight improvement from before the surgery.  It should get  better over the next few weeks.  I looked at my ear and it's scary.  I kinda feel like I was butchered.  He opened up my ear canal but I feel like he did it a little too ( Read more... )

My surgery went well.  The surgeon was able to put the implant in that replaces my hearing bones so when I'm all healed I will hopefully have close to normal hearing in my left ear.  I think that will be amazing.  Like gaining a new sense.  Or going from standard to HD.  My poor hearing has a bad impact on my already poor conversation skills since ( Read more... )

Looking at a bunch of friends' journals and it seems that most of them haven't posted since 2004-2007. Several users I've actually hung out with and I wonder what they are up to these days. Probably on Facebook or some other social media outlet.

Tomorrow I'm having a surgery done on my left ear. That ear has been giving me problems ever since I was a kid. I had chronic ear infections and went to the doctor many times. Hello.  Seattle is pretty cool.  I miss a couple of my friends, though.  I've been staying up way later than I should.  So when I wake up it's usually around 3pm.  I'm going to go back to college.  I haven't really looked for a job yet.  I'm not worried, I have plenty of money.  And I'm going to try to sell most of my tools since I don't need them ( Read more... )

Apparently I fail to see when a woman is attracted to me. I was just at a lame party and this girl talked to me a bunch. My friends all said that she was all over me and I could have fucked her or whatever. I just thought she was friendly and interested in me since she's never met me before.
