1. I went home this weekend to help my parents take up the tile and paint the half-bath. Lots of hard work. And I managed to fall off a stepladder and wreck my back, along with my hip and shoulder. I am in PAIN and stayed out of work yesterday. We managed to get up the tile, most of the quick-set, and I got two coats of paint up on the walls

3. Oh, that is a tough one. I'd say, don't worry about how you're "supposed" to feel, because no one knows the relationship you and she have better than you. Whatever you're feeling in regards to this is the right thing for you, and if that feeling falls more in line with conflicted emotions - well, you have a complicated relationship.

5. I wish I were more obsessed with current events. They just pass me by. I need to start making a date with Brian Williams, I think.
