Just fucking fantastic
My friends kid was tested for Swine Flu last night. Lena was ALL OVER her yesterday. Now, I'm not worried my kids are gonna die or anything, but I really don't need to take them to hospital.
Anyway, we've canceled our playdate plans today. I wondered if I should go get Lena out of school, but they might have a panic attack. -
Looking for a job
So, I'm looking for a temporary part time job. I applied at Target and Walgreens (the latter only because they are opening a shop 10 mins walk from my house). Today I got an application for Roots, the local natural foods store. I think I have found my girls name for the next baby. I had this list of like 10 names and usually if I can't pick which one I like best it means I don't REALLY like any of them. Well, today I saw one I LOVE. And weirdly enough, it was in a baby name book. I have NEVER found a name I love in a baby name book.

I am trying to find out who in my family has breastfed and am interested in how far back I'll have to go to find someone who has. Nooooooo!
I think my baby is well and truly potty training now. She went out with pants on today for half an hour! I have a diaper she has literally worn once! Now I have to decide whether to sell her diapers and buy new next time or save them. -
I almost can't believe this
Ven and I are having soul searching conversations the past few days. He is seriously considering enlisting. This might seem hilarious to some who know my husband is incredibly lazy, but it' actually not that bizarre to me. He has mentioned it many times in the past. My husband didn't get deported
So, I got up this morning at 6:30 and made dinner. Sandy got here just before 8 and we left just after. I forgot to ring Lena's preschool to tell them she wasn't coming so they probably think she's dead or something. We got to Des Moines in plenty of time. Appointment was on time. Weird doula club
My friend Jess and I went to this thing today. This woman just did her doula workshop and she lives down the street from Jess. She had a get together at her house for the few other doulas in the area and some women from her church who want to be doulas or midwives. It was very bizarre.
