Feminist-friendly superheroines?

Are there any female action/superheroes in comics that both kick a lot of ass and aren't drawn with absurd, grotesque proportions?

I'm a big fan of Rubinesque O'Rolemodel in the Successful Single Moms comics.

Y, Fables, and Buffy were among the comics I suggested to the person that originally put this question to me, as well Alias. For the most part, though, there definitely seems to be a dearth of characters that fit the description.

Not to sound like a dick, but the question is kind of meaningless, because it all depends on the artist. Superhero comics change artists constantly, so you'd be hard pressed to find a character who's drawn "non-grotesque" consistently.

Does Mary Worth count? She is a superheroine of sage advice.
