Remember that post regarding Icelandic elves in which I mentioned how confoundingly difficult it was to track down the documentary Huldufólk 102? If I catch a Bjork, I can finally get rid of this Kinski that's been plaguing me for years.

And who could blame him? Did you see My Best Fiend? God, Kinski was psychotic. I totally don't blame him for directing Kinski while holding a gun.

You believe you ARE an Icelandic elf and would like to know more about your ancestors, as part of your effort to get icelandic elves declared a protected class under title seven.

Oh man. . . I WISH I wasn't utterly blown out mentally right now so I could help you with this.

Just don't invent something outlandish--he can smell disingenuous people, you know.

Man, I wish I could find a link to the old Herzog Blog. . . all I can find is this other fake one that almost seems weird enough to be really his!

This is the best thing that has happened in America in months. You are trying to trick Warner Herzog into showing you a documentary about elves. Not everyone can say that.

I would tell him you're thinking of getting an Elf Studies degree and want to see how seriously the Icelanders take it; you don't want to waste your time with people who are not rigorously devoted to the study of elves.
