Speaking of cars, I wanted to put in my two cents on the used car versus used issue. I got a brand-spanking new Hyundai Accent with all the extras it could possibly have and a service contract for $14,000. It may conceivably be cheaper now what with the economy sucking and all. I found getting a new car much easier and pleasant than dealing with used ones--more choices, more service support, and the dealership wants to get rid of them much more. wow! $14000 for a new car is not bad at all. given what cars we're looking at, i'm not sure we could pull it off, but we may. we'll see. i too fear the reliability and history of a used car, but i guess we'll see what happens...
