Red was reading on the porch, nose buried in a copy of James and the Giant Peach. Her feet were propped up on the railing which she used to push herself back and forth in the rocking chair. In her lap was a bowl of cherries and she munched away on them, humming a bit to herself.

Cinderella had been teaching Red how to sew and knit and do all sorts of girly things that also happened to be helpful. She was sitting on the front porch of the house she shared with Jack, Cindy, and the Baker, rocking back and forth in her rocking chair.
