I bring this up in the context of a long list friend from high school who messaged me out of the blue and just as suddenly stopped talking to me again ( Read more... ) -
The day after
I think we're both trying to pretend that things are ok. But I think we both know they aren't. It's like relationship chicken I suppose; no one wants to be the first to say it out loud. As if the act of saying it out loud makes it more real than what we're already feeling. -
What does it all mean and why do we do it?
In my better moments, I can ignore the voices, the doubts and the questions and just push forward without wondering ( Read more... ) -
Way back machine
So out of the blue, it occurred to me that restaurants and hotels no longer keep matchbooks around.
As a kid, I remember collecting them wherever my family would travel.
While I don't miss people smoking all the time and everywhere, I do miss the souvenirs. -

I mean really? WTF. Most people would wait a year or two before finding themselves back in the exact same place again. Nope, not me. Just under 3 months, not a record that I am proud of. -
Missing people, missing yourself...
So, tonight a long lost friend called me from out of the blue. With the exception of one other person she is my oldest friend which is really sad when you consider that we only met in college.
There's more to be written, but I think I need to gather my thoughts a little first.

If you see a 'configdata' file with no file extension and you know that this is related to a Q-Logic 5602 FC switch, do you think that this is a word doc or something that you can open, or should you maybe be thinking, "Gee this looks like it might be a FW/config.bin type file and I should probably just try to upload the file without opening it ( Read more... )
