Day 7- Took a break, exhausted after a long week

Day 8- Ran 4 and lifted weights at the gym

Day 9- Shred Level 2

Day 10- Went to the gym, ran 5

Day 11- Gym, cross trained

Day 12- Shred Level 1

Day 4- Got the urge to do Shred Level 2, and realized that it was a lot more of an ass kicking than Level 1! I don't think I've ever sweated that hard in 20 minutes. Went on a 6 mile walk with All all the way down Bravo Murillo, to Fuencarral and through Sol to La Latina finishing at Viva la Vida, the best vegetarian restaurant in Madrid (and possibly the world!)

Then, shredded tonight at Level 1....thinking of staying at Level 1 for one more day and then trying Level 2.

So far, I´ve been back in Madrid for about two months now and much has happened since then. Started a new job, got back in touch with friends, turned a year older, and all that jazz. It´s amazing how hard it is to readjust to working after spending two months not working, but I think I´m finally there. The new school is all right, much different ( Read more... )

Finally home for the summer...it is glorious! Never hits 80 degrees (it's been in the upper 90's in Madrid since around June 15th), the house is warm and welcoming, the family is amazing and Daisy is fatter than ever. Time for my monthly update, it seems. Spring is in full swing, or at least that's what the kids tell me when I ask them what season we are in every day, because in Madrid, it morphs into spring in March and stays that way until June.
