The urge to edit is difficult to resist. In my English classes, as Issac can attest, I was notorious for stringing together unbearably long yet grammatically correct sentences- the longest one so far is 69 words. I'm writing a novel this month. NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month, and the challenge is to write 50,000 words from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30. I found the site yesterday and decided to sign on. I figure if nothing else, I'll have a string of SL character backgrounds or something. We got a cat today. I found him on Craigslist after Jim said I could get one. He's sweet and likes to be petted. He's currently hiding somewhere because when I as I was carrying him downstairs to remind him where the food bowl and litterbox are, the smoke detector went off, which scared him into hiding. I got a moth the first time, took it again because there's no way I should end up 'humble' and 'modest,' then ended up with a rabbit. Apparently there's just no way to word a quiz so that it comes up 'solitary, proud, arrogant, spontaneous, curious, quiet.'
