Grr....I'm doing it again. I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels whenever I practice now, and that to me is the single most frustrating thing I've ever experienced. I know exactly how I should should sound, and I work as hard as I can to create that sound I hear in my head. Personally, I'd split your practice up into 2 45 minute sessions (or an hour if you really need 2 hours). I found the time in my life thus far where I did my best practicing was when I got up early, practiced for 30-45 before school, then did it again when you get home. That way the last hour or so isn't wasted when your lip is torn to shit from playing.

It happens, we all go through rough patches of practice. Honestly the best thing do to I've found is to take one day off, usually you return with optimism and not a feeling of frustration!
