Helpfully, we got a Royal Mail 'Sorry, you were out' card last week, with absolutely nothing written on it. I've got no idea whether the postman forgot to write anything on it, or if we got it by mistake

I chased after a postman for doing that once - he said that he didn't bring the card around till the next day, when the item in question was already back at the depot.
