We left early Friday morning, or late Thursday night for the airport. The bus left at 1:45AM. After going out to the Perch and Eagle and Child I napped for an hour and then got up to go to the bus station. This weekend started on Thursday afternoon when a bunch of us went punting. Punting is a type of boat ride that Oxford is popular for. Instead of using paddles to move yourself down the river, you use a pole by pushing off the ground. It was a lot of fun but very tiring for the hands ( Read more... )

This weekend was insane!! It started on Thursday. We were all ready to leave Oxford after eating at the Falafel place near the Oxford bus stop. The most direct way to get to the Luton airport, where we were flying out of to get to Barcelona, was by catching two separate buses. I locked myself out of my room in my towel this morning. On my way to the lodge I ran into some friends who thought it was the funniest thing ever. The got some pictures of my in my towel. It was kind of embarrassing… but it was kind of funny too ( Read more... )

• Tower of London (beautiful weather); Crown Jewels
• Lunch: huge pizza
• British Museum; Rosetta Stone!
• Bought ticket for "Chicago"
• Walked through red light district in Soho
• Starbucks
• "Chicago"! It was so good!

This morning I ate breakfast in the hotel and left for Brussels by 9AM. It was about an hour and a half drive to the city. When we got there we had two hours to roam the city and eat lunch. This morning we had a music lecture review for the final exam. After the lecture we decided that we would reconvene in the lobby in an hour to go out and explore the town. Today was another day of museums. I got breakfast from the crepe place near my hotel (nutella and banana crepe-it was really good!). But before the museums I had class for about an hour.
