Louisa peered up into the cold night sky. For the first time in maybe a week, she could see more than six or seven stars while she did so. There is a lot of serious stuff in this relatively short piece yet it doesn't feel rushed at all. Great balance that way--I liked how it came together!

Losing a child is the worst thing imaginable. I don't know how a parent survives such a loss, I truly don't.

As a take of the topic, this was heartbreakingly accurate. No bigger void than a child's loss. I hope it's a fictional account?

The loss of a child certainly qualifies as a void. I am glad to know your entry is fictional. You did a great job in presenting such an emotional, painful subject.
