Okay, so one of my 101 things resolutions was to do this, and as it's almost the new year I think it's a good time to start...

What's one book that you think everyone absolutely must read at some point in their life? I am going to compile a list and try to read them all in 2007. Don't worry about not knowing my taste, not knowing what I've already ( Read more... )

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.

It's a classic, I've read it 11 times now. <3

The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. It's so beautifully written and very well-crafted story-wise. I love it to death.

The Once and Future King, by T. H. White. (with or without the Book of Merlyn, which is interesting as it relates to the rest of the work, but kind of boring to read.)

It happens to be one of the only books I have with me in Paris, because I decided it would be one I could re-read.
