It's a fuckin' brilliant idea, it is.

It's not as if Chris has been planning it for long at all; it's just an idea he's come up with. Of course, the last time he went camping with his mates, Michelle's sister's car had ended up in the sea and Maxxie's stalker had shown up and had been shagging Anwar. Mostly, Chris had just been happy someone had ( Read more... )

"Not if I take you down first," Olive says, mock-serious. "It's on, Bennet. Hit me with your best shot." Her managing not to burst into a little Pat Benatar is very near thing. With her legs drawn up against her and the campfire going, she's relaxed and happy, still pleased as ever to be part of a group. She's never minded being on her own, but there's something about the sense of belonging that remains novel, pleasing.

"You are so going to regret saying that when you figure out what I've got in store for you," Claire replies, trying with all of her might to hide her glee- of all of the people who could have asked for a round, Olive is pretty high up there on the list. Not really because Claire has any desire to take Olive down more pegs than anyone else, but just because sometimes, games like these are best with those one is closest to. "Alright, Penderghast. Truth or dare? Oh, and since you mentioned taking me down, I'm going to have to say, sticking with truth the whole time won't get the job done."

"Oh, you're on," Olive says, laughing. She should probably be worried, true, given that, of the people on this gathering, the only one here who knows her better is probably Eduardo, but then, she also knows Claire isn't the kind to use that knowledge in any malicious way or to do anything that would hurt her. Embarrassment is basically a given in Truth or Dare, but that, she can deal with. Mostly, though, mostly she's just curious what Claire will come up with, because she hasn't got anything in mind for the blonde yet. "Let's see what you've got then. Dare."

Picking a dare for a friend to do is always a difficult process. On one hand, Claire doesn't want to be too cruel, doesn't want to suggest that Olive does anything that would leave a black mark on her island record- but on the other hand, the whole point of truth and dare is to pick things that people would have a hard time doing or saying. She taps her finger to her chin, not planning on making Olive make out with anyone (especially since, well, Bambi's in the group), but still with other ideas under her belt.

"Okay," she nods at last. "Pick someone from this crowd- other than myself, of course- and sing the "I'm Too Sexy" song to them while acting as your favorite Disney villain. Bonus points for making him or her blush."

There. Nothing too uncomfortable, but with quite the range of possibilities.

"Oh, man," Olive says, biting her lip as she looks out over the crowd. It's not like she won't do it and commit fully; it's just a matter of choosing her victim. Eduardo is way too obvious to be an option, plus she's likelier to crack up in face than with nearly anyone else, save Claire herself, who's off limits. She doesn't know who among them would blush, although she can rule out any number of people. In the end, she decides on the one person she doesn't really know; what better way to get to know someone than to make a total ass of yourself in front of him?
