many people are just starting over in other cities. not even returning home. i think we're going to try and fix our house, though its under many feet of water. we'll see, the worst part is the water toxic, so its not only flooding, its a huge cespool

i want to help too, but no one is allowed into the city, we cant mail anything in ward, nothing. theres no way to help, we're completely helpless, my uncles good friend is one of the guys that is doing helocopter pickups off of the roofs says taht there are bodies, dead bodies floating in the streets, and when authority figures find them they have to tie them to posts because there is no wehre to bring them.
its a mess, not sure if youre religeous, but prayers would be nice
