I disagree about the tension - I thought it wasn't suspenseful in the slightest, so much as dragging, and I thought it had the effect of making the main cast look stupid. Points to TARS, there. TARS was the best part of that stupid movie.
And I'm also with you on not only stealing that spaceship, but apparently that little ship is all you need to get from the station, through the wormhole, and to the new planet now?
