Things I'm sharing with you that you should thank Saara for:

  • Jack Chick is evil and hilarious. See it in this tract about the gays. Take special notice of the devils bursting out of their chests. (Actually, DJ and Saara showed me this, so thank both of them.)

  • Also, please check out 69_words. It's a community for 69 word (erotic) fiction. I wrote a story ( Read more... )

Yeah, that or "Ariel" was my favorite episode of the series. It's close; "Out of Gas" was really amazingly crafted, but it's tough to gauge which episode had more levels of pure badass-ness; "Out of Gas" for Mal's repair of the ship while being shot in the gut, or "Ariel" for Mal's laying the smack down on Jayne and EVERYTHING SIMON DID IN THAT EPISODE.

I'm retroactively heartbroken at the cancellation of this series. Even with a feature in the works.

    Sweet, dude.

I just read that Jack Chick comic. God, that's fucking awful. I used to like Jack Chick but not anymore. How hateful of him.

my mom had cancer, too. lymphoma. I did a lot of research on it and given what I knew from what the doctors were able to detect and such I did some math (seriously, i did a statistical analysis) on the situation and determined she had a 64% percent chance of being fine without treatment and a 98% chance of being fine with treatment.

She got the treatment and she's fine. It still freaked me out. a lot.
