I keep your picture upon the wall. It hides a nasty stain that's lying there

I'm not in love, so don't forget it
It's just a silly phase I'm going through
And just because I call you up
Don't get me wrong, don't think you've got it made

we all self conscious.. I'm just the first to admit it )

I think there's a huge difference between making yourself look presentable when you leave your house and looking in the mirror every 5 seconds. You don't strike me as the vain type.

*hugs* You're not vain Nora......Manicures and tanning sessions are part of pampering yourself and there's nothing wrong with that...It's not like you're going everyday. ;D

^^ Word.

You're not vain Nora, you like to emphasize that you're pretty. So what? Heck, sometimes I'll leave the house with NO makeup on, barely lip gloss, but I feel so much better if I have my nails done, and even a bit of make up on. It's what makes you feel good. :)

*hugs*

bah, i think people don't compare a person's being vain-ness to other people's vain amount, they just compare it to zero vain-ness.

i guess it could go with that whole thing, like if they compare it to no vain-ness, then there will be more than if compared to normal "acceptable" amount, so then the vainer you are, the more they feel good, you know? that whole thing. so i wouldnt even think twice about what your manager just said if you know your on the same level as everybody else for your vain meter.

haha vain meter.
