Wow. One more day of Highschool. While I know its contrived, I have this dull feeling of something momentous about to pass. Life will never be the same.

It really is amazing that while the face of poverty is black, there are nearly three times as many white people in poverty (nearly 25 million) as there are black people in poverty (nearly 9 million). The glaring inconsistancy lies in the proportions: around 10.5% of white people live in poverty while around 24.4% of black people live in poverty. ( Read more... )
