So far I've had two and a half days in DC. I arrived around noon on the first day and met a relative with whom I am staying. He's my mother's cousin, I think that makes him my second cousin... So, it's been a few days since I posted but things have been happening anyway! I am currently sitting in Maryland, just outside Washington DC, in this huge posh house that nevertheless has one of the slowest computers and crappiest keyboards I've seen in a long time. The last couple of days have been spent at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and the New York Metropolitan Museum. I haven't spent much time looking at or thinking about art for a while, and it woke up bits of my brain that have been dormant. I haven't had time to post in the last couple of days, but I am now in New York!! My last couple of days in LA were pretty quiet - I finally got to the gym, I did some pottering around and packed, and flew off to NY on Thursday morning.
