Classes have been rather dull. Nothing too exciting has occured to say the least. It feels as though many of the students have been retreating to their dorms during their free time. Well, I am not going to complain too much about that. Mostly because this means that I won't have to see their faces and deal with them.

I have been here for two days already, I have to ask. Why was I excited to return. I have come to the conclusion that I set myself up for something great but it turns out to be quite bland.

Exactly four days until the first day of classes, this includes September First of course. I am a bit indifferent about it all. I still cannot get over the fact that I have been chosen to be a Prefect for the Slytherin house. Not that there were many other choices. Has anyone else noticed it is hard to sleep when you have thoughts running about in your head?

It was a few minutes before four, though Noreen was walking up the path to the door where Vincent resided for the summer. She had been told about his uncle on a few occasions, however, she never did meet the man. As she knocked at the door and waited she prayed that Vincent would answer, mostly because she didn't really want to meet anyone new.
