Apr 17, 2007 14:43

We are moving! I am clearing out the yard so we can sell the house. Willing to take reasonable offers. We are just east of Rock Creek and Porter in Norman. Don't have a camera to take pictures sorry. Need to clear these out asap so can start stage two the garage attic :) which has a floor loom and lots of mystery stuff in it ( Read more... )

I would be interested in the bench with end table and two chairs. However, I don't have a truck. Do you have a way of getting it to me? If so, count me in!

Umm no don't have a truck just a tiny car. Honestly (of course depending on what type of vehicle you have) you might making a couple of trips get it to your house. The set is heavy esp the bench Definitely won't blow away in the Oklahoma weather.

Hmmm... well, I have friends with trucks. (Don't we all?) Maybe I can talk somebody into helping me haul it off. Would Sunday be good?

Please e-mail me at NemoAlia at hotmail, and we can fix details.

Could you tell me more about the playgym? Our swingset just bit the dust after 12 years, and we are looking for something. How big is it, is it just the slide and rope? I can't get a mental image.

First I am not terribly great with measurement and it is too dark to go hunt for the tape measure. Promise I'll do that in the am.

Basically the playgym is a tall square guessing about 8 ft tall 6 ft square
very bottom of square ground level is open for sandbox with two built in seats the second level is a deck off of which is the slide the other side is a climbing net and opposite the slide is a climbing rope with the fourth side having a steering wheel on it.
We built it out of absetos free treated lumber
Very very heavy and solid won't tip or rock even with several kids on it--we have had a couple of playgroups and parties in our backyard :)

Hope this description helps

How easy would it be to take apart/put back together for transporting?

I honestly couldn't tell you. We put it together with bolts. DH is reading over my shoulder now and says it should come apart if you have tools and time fairly easy. He also is suggesting bringing a camera to take pics to make it easier to re-assemble. The tools needed would be a mallet, ratchet set (can't remember the nut size, pliers, and a hammer. He thinks it would come apart into 5 pieces so you would still need a truck to move it.

Is the broadsword in good condition? I'd be good for that.

Yes it is in good condition. Some wear on the sheath but sword itself is in great shape.

Please email me off list at susanmomof2@sbcglobal.net so we can arrange a pickup time/place
