Very interesting! First fill I've read where Loki's kids are canon characters.

Although wouldn't Sleipnir be the oldest brother? Or am I wrong in thinking he was the one born first in Mythology?

Yeah, he totally was, and I knew that. I just decided to ignore it for a bit - It's all a bit nicer if they're saving their baby brother!

Bribe me with a few more hours in the day, and I'd consider it, haha! Actually, I was kind of hoping someone else would write the next one, and the fanon would GROW! (Muhahaha)

I deliberately left it up in the air who Sleipnir's human form was going to be - I couldn't think of anyone awesome enough. I don't have much of a nuanced understanding of the marvel universe. Though, after Silverlynxcat commented I realised that older!Sleipnir could have been Doctor Strange or Xavier or something cool like that...

I will just wait for the next "Fury is Jormungand" prompt, and stalk it XD

Personally, I think that Slepnir should best be left as an OC. Either that, or Pepper...

You do know you're inspiring me to write more prompts - hm. How about one along the lines of -

4 things Loki's children did (and one they didn't) when they were reunited with their parent.

1. Fenrir: introduced his boyfriend to his father.
2. Jormungandr: Tricked Loki into therapy.
3. Hel: Hugged him. A lot.
4. Slepnir: Watched Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog together. (He likes to sing along to the 'Bad Horse' theme.)
And -
5. Cast Ensemble: refused to let the Asgard torture their family anymore.

Bahahahaha! Sleipnir makes everyone start calling him the thoroughbred of sin, and Jormungand has to talk him out of becoming a supervillain! Omg, brain, I am busyyy! I can't write this!

And after Loki finishes his course of therapy, everyone hangs out on earth and no one is evil... And the Aesir kind of peek in through the windows every few weeks, but the brood are all "GTFO! We hate the idea of Ragnarok as much as you do, so just leave us alone!"

This was really cool to see. I hadn't seen anyone calling Hel one of the avengers people. I wonder if she got a thrill out of tasering Thor? She probably found it funny that the van kept defeating him.

I wonder what would happen when Loki gets out. I wouldn't think that he would be that inclined to try and take over the earth or destroy things with four of his kids, in particular the four most tormented by the Asgard, on the planet. Unless it was a plan to have a villain for the Avengers to fight that wouldn't be truly out to kill them.

I did think about ending this story with the four of them coming across an unconscious and beaten-up Loki who has landed on Yggdrasil. Unanimously, they change their minds on this whole no one is riding Sleipnir again mentality, bundle their mother onto Sleipnir's back and carry him off to Midgard to nurse him better.

But as I mentioned above, I have this wishful fantasy that I can lure other people to write in this AU, and I didn't want to limit what someone else could come up with. Besides, the fic was kind of long enough already - it was supposed to be flash fic *_* Took up a whole day's writing time!
