Every once in a while, he likes to gather them all together, take them away to picturesque landscapes, where they can spend time bonding, the father and his children. During the day, younger ones play, safe within the protective barriers Loki puts up, and the elder ones hunt and gossip and prepare meals ( ... )

This is gorgeous! Other people close to Thor must suspect the truth though. Unless Thor's closest friends really believe Loki gets off on having Thor's sloppy seconds...

oh. thank you for pointing that out, i really didn't pay attention much to other characters, i focused more on Loki and interaction with his kids. now i feel like rewriting it because i got some more ideas, but i don't think my schedule allows it...:(

That was beautiful! Loki feels so much more at peace in this fic, being loved suits him. ^^

He's so good with the children. And despite finding out he's jotun at the end, he seems like he'll be able to cope (because of the children). But my heart broke when the mother of little Gloa (born intersexed) begged him not to kill her child. Naturally, LOKI wouldn't do a thing like that but -- ASGARD!

Loki feels his heart is this close to breaking when the twins, clumsy twins who are absolutely hopeless in all things magic charm the flowers out of thin air and place them in his lap - a ridiculously easy feat for someone like him, easier than breathing, but the fact that they tried so hard to prove themselves to him…he envelops them in a rib-crushing hug so they don't see the tears in his eyes, and tells them how proud he is, how perfect they are. Tells them he loves them.

That scene. That scene. ALL THE FEELS!

This is so sweet. Always knew Loki would be a totally awesome guy towards kids, whether they're his own or the kids of someone else.

;_; my emotions, my emotions

Loki telling the twins they're perfect, Thor wistfully telling him he's a good father, "don't look so sad, Father, we all love you"

brb crying more than I thought I would.

Ugh, so many feelings. Loki is a great Father even if the children are not his blood and it's rather wonderful to see how they don't care that they are adopted themselves because he is a wonderful Dad, as opposed to how Loki could see that Thor was favored by their 'father' over him. You did a wonderful job portraying Loki's love for his little ones and in return their love for him.

Keep it up.
