It's a nice weekend. I've read a lot and lounged about, and also done some chores. In TSW I did the 30 missions required this weekend for an ingame t-shirt and some points for the clothing store - I bought half gloves, dark red buckled boots, a kilt skirt and a nice jacket with a dragon on it for them. Song time with toddlers is a good way to start the week, I guess. The leader is a warm, fairly well-known woman with a guitar and an ukulele. It's nice to get to sing some kids' songs now and then. We've had her two Mondays now, and there will be one more next week ( Read more... )

Yay Remix!

I know it's not really a gift, but it feels like I got an awesome present. My Snippet 12 (*NSYNC) was remixed into Firebird Suite (Celebrity Mix), and it takes that one little scene and expands it into a whole plot setting. It has several little asides referencing songs and people characteristics, and the whole thing just made me smile ( Read more... )
