I kinda missed posting about this earlier, but today is my anniversary with scarfe. Sorta. See, we met on November 10th, 2001, and started dating on the 15th. (What can I say? I work fast!) But because that date falls so close to his birthday and usually comes around during the hellish period of final papers/exams, we forget to celebrate until December. ( Read more... )

Oh, SB, you're such a romantic! I probably should have made this more of a description of our actual relationship than a "and here's what we did this year!" post, but still, I think it's a good story. Full of sparkily hearts and such. So tears are justifiable, I think.

(And yeah, law school really would be just a stepping stone to something else. I like the notion of becoming a literary agent, or working in a nonprofit practise. I definitely wouldn't work in a corporate environment, and so there are no concerns there about poor Nos selling her soul. Although if it would lure you up to Ontario--even for a shaking--I'd be tempted to give it a shot :-)

Thank you! And it's really been no work yet - I think the work part comes when we have to grow up a bit more and have a house and kids and full-time jobs. For now it's just a lot of fun and giggling and occasional arguments about who does the dishes.
