I kinda missed posting about this earlier, but today is my anniversary with scarfe. Sorta. See, we met on November 10th, 2001, and started dating on the 15th. (What can I say? I work fast!) But because that date falls so close to his birthday and usually comes around during the hellish period of final papers/exams, we forget to celebrate until December. ( Read more... )

You two are so cute! If I tell you that my feller and I were an item as early on as you guys, does that make you want to whimper or grin? And YES to the growing up together thing - I love that. I sometimes think that I ought to feel that I've missed out on stuff, but, you know, I never, ever do. I feel very, very lucky that we got lucky and found each other.

We just had our 16th wedding anniversary - we left the kids with the babysitter and had a whole conversation from beginning to end - it was bliss! We drank wine, ate food that wasn't in breadcrumbs, we didn't have to share our desserts and didn't have to cut anything up or take anyone to the loo half-way through!

I wish you two many years of the same kind of happiness. :-)
