It was DAMN cold this morning. Woke up to a 63 degree house. And yes, in the dawning days of September, when it should still be toasty... I turned on the heater for like 10 min. I HAD to!  BabyCake in the house! (she didn't care, it was me that was freezing).

Crikey she is fast!! Not slow those feet. I had the sound on when I played and ended up with a lapful of kelpies - Jill started pawing at the mouse - no idea why and Callan started zooming around. Guess who wants to play with the teeny tiny little girl? I wouldn't subject her to that since he has grown up around dogs so much bigger than him ( and they still are). She is so darn cute. You sure she isn't a wind-up toy? Battery driven maybe?

You can't blame baby Cake - puppies have these really high metabolic rates that generate heat - just feel her on a cold day. So admit it, it was you who felt cold, not the little one ;) I have been sorely tempted to also turn on the heater but I have just thrown on more clothes.
