decision

as many of you already know, i've decided to go to yale next year. for a lot of reasons, it's the right decision for me. hopefully i'll be able to start doing work this summer (but out of dc), but even if that doesn't work out, i'm still sure of my decision.

Where is all the outrage? How can you do this to us? Did you really seriously consider the academic opportunities, that, for instance, UDC offered in your field?

Seriously -- you'll be missed but we hope you rock the political sock at Yale.

ps, when you find out about your exit date (i'm cheering for you getting paid to start there early yet sad at prospect of you leaving us early)
we should talk about how to cooperate on fighting off the swarms of interested parties who want your room so we can select someone in a less pressured (all the ones showing interest so far are someone's close friend to whom it would be really hard to say no, no matter what the reason) and not frenzied way, so we can find someone who is a good lifestyle/communicationstyle/observance/humor etc fit...
oh, once again- congrats on knocking their socks off!
