My brother just came in and announced that he hasn't managed to get any presents for anyone because he didn't know the shops were going to shut as early as 4pm.

even I know that the shops close at 4pm on sunday, and i only lived in the UK for 6 months!!! sheesh.

He did finally give me a DVD of The Moomins (an old skool kids' show).
