Been checking out cars in preparation for my move to California. The ones I've test-driven include:

Woah. A Song of Ice and Fire is being made into an HBO miniseries. And the producers (David Benioff and D.B. Weiss) have actually promised to read the fansites for suggestions. How cool is that?
Pilot episode covers all of the first book from the prologue to "The things I do for love."

I'm not sure this was supposed to be a meme, but I'm stealing it anyway, from bbathory. Given how infrequently I update now, a good chunk of my flist must think I'm dead or something...this is a "yes, I'm here". ;-)
