Quantity has a quality of its own.
After not quite making brick budget today I stopped and looked at what I was casting into the seconds pile.
Realised I was being too harsh.
After all, if I'm rendering/facading over them on the outside and hard plastering inside, they can afford to be a bit rough on the corners.
The goal is 120,000 bricks.
The quantity will take care of the -

Narrowly missed a new flock of lovely native ducks this morning. Spectacular colouring of both mum and dad, crossing the road on the way down to Bells Parade, and hot footing it as I swerved the goplf to the side a bit so they stayed lumpy, instead of flattening out ( Read more... ) -

Came home from various adventures and a day of solid work to chase the goats into there stalls and noticed a lump that looked like a rolled up blanket under the new water tank. Got a bit cross with myself for leaving crap lying around and then looked again.
