Fireworks were really great!!! Got there rather early and so waited round for ages, but wasn't too bad, had candy floss, a hotdog (burnt of course!) and an ice cream! Drizzeled continually, but didnt detract anything from the display. It was rather impressive. Am very cold and damp now though!

Cold and damp? Sounds like Seattle in the winter! I'd feel right at home there.

Sounds like SPb in autumn, like now... I wanna go back to England, where they have frosty mornings! Only had 2 here so far.

Have'nt had any frosty mornings yet. Its only getting down to about 5/6 degrees so far. How long have you got left there? Take it you'll be home for Christmas?

Wandered on here, and noticed you like to shoot things with bows too!

I thought I'd say hello, as I'm also an archer, and a student in the UK! I'm at Sheffield Uni, just started my PhD there, so I wouldn't meet you in league stuff, but probably will do at BUSA.

I do like to shoot things with bows, though not very sucessfully unfortunately! Will prob be up ap BUSA if theres ewnough space for me to shoot, but if not will be there to cheer I supposed. (Was v v v low down the list last year, and doubt I'll make the Uni team if they have only a few places.) How did you do?
Where is it this year?
Leeds was hell last year. Minibus broke down just outside of Leed and the Birmingham and Loughborough teams had to send cars and a minibus for us and even then we were a bit late! Luckily they let us shoot though.

Got to go now, meant to be getting dressed to get into Uni!

Have never actually shot BUSA, although last year I helped out running it (I was in the small hall all day) as I wasn't a student then.
I don't think they've got a place yet for this year, although Loughborough have put in a bid, and Edinburgh were talking about it.
Yeah, the_shirt's my boyfriend, and I was randomly looking at his friends when I wandered on here!
