I should prolly point out before this explodes (further) that this is a reaction to so goddamn many people complaining to me about their boyfriends. While I do find society as a whole sucky, I'll admit that there are a few individuals that I can tolerate.

In other words, a bias of experience. Most of your male friends from my side of the fence don't have girlfriends to complain about. (Interestingly, I heard that all women suck only yesterday.)

As for the other thing, I find society's suckiness easier to tolerate than I do people who tell me about it.
