Where should I go next? I've been to Europe, Iceland (does that count as Europe?), southern South America, North Africa, SE Asia, Alaska, Hawaii, much of the continental United States (though not much of the Deep South), Mexico

Russia? India would be super-cool too. Also, England should be in your list... because it's not Europe... at least... not if you're English :)

England is almost a second home now that a certain offspring is residing there. I'm sure it will again be a destination.

Well... you could always go with the obvious... like The Beatles. Although I'd go with a healthy dose of the faux-Baltic stuff like Devotchka

One thing i did not like about the south when I visited North Carolina over the summer was how EVERYTHING was deep fried. I want to tast fish, danggit! Not the breading they roll it in!

I love reading your travel journals. I kinda live vicariously through them :)

I know what you mean about NC. On the other hand, I like their version of barbeque...tangy and not gloppy.
