You are such a dog person. Kitties shouldn't actually drink milk, so the water is good. If you want to keep it around more than a day try to buy some kitty food, either dry or wet. They will also eat turkey baby food and mine loves canned pumpkin as a treat. (And ice cream, too, but she really shouldn't eat that...see the milk comment) When I adopted Stella she had an upper respiratory infection, very common among shelter cats. I think we gave Stella special eyedrops and it went away. It will probably go away on its own.
