[A → Action; 340 Brady Lane: Early Morning]

[There's a lot of things wrong with this morning. A lot of things wrong. For one, this isn't his bed. He knows this because he's had his bed for how long? Anyways, this isn't his bed. Second, last time he checked, he had some dashing and lovely scars to go with his whole vigilante image. Now how in the ( Read more... )

[ Sleeping next to the drone wasn't nearly as bad as sleeping by Reaver. Then again, it seems the two rarely spent a minute in the same house at the same time (and sometimes she would just crash outside on the porch or on the couch in the living room anyhow).

Meiling rolls over onto the newly-vacated spot, murmuring something about how warm it was and how it was too early and that she wasn't going to let him destroy the mansion.

--this is perfectly normal sleep talk. Hush. ]

She wouldn't lie about important things like that. [ Meiling nods and sticks her hand out far enough to point to the door. ] She's just out that way, down the hall. The side room is the, um... "son", but he's. Well. [ Droned. It's kind of awkward sometimes, but she tries to treat him well enough. Flandre doesn't like him, though, so that makes it hard when she's visiting. ]

[ When she steps out, she stops and smiles. ] You think so? It's nothing like what I'm used to. [ She flicks the brow of her cap. ] At least they managed to give this back to me first!

(ooc: Not sure if he would be able to tell, or if you're familiar, but the character on the star on her head reads "long" in Chinese, and means "dragon".)

I don't think she'd lie. But it's just something I rather do out of necessity. It also gives me a better gauge of how much longer others have been here. And it never hurts to have more knowledge under your belt. [Oh...] So we 'have' two children?

Well, it's different from what I'm used to seeing, but different isn't bad. And it looks good on you. I'd look ridiculous in your clothes, that's for sure. [Laughs.]

[ A nod. ] Yeah, that's what it's like. A "pet", too... but I've never seen anything like it before, so I haven't talked with it yet. [ It's a weaponless turret with a robotic voice; clearly not her area of expertise. ]

[ She laughs, too. ] It's a good thing that you don't have to wear it!

Do you want that tea? [ Since her offer was said in waking, but genuine. ]

A pet? What exactly is it? Because it doesn't sound like we're talking about cats or dogs anymore. [He'd have to go find it later just out of his curiosity.]

It is. [Because he's already had his fair share of crossdressing. Not even kidding.]

I'd like that a lot actually.

I don't know. I haven't talked to it yet. [ Or done any routines in the backyard since it arrived. ] It doesn't really move.

Okay then! I'll head downstairs and start up the kettle. [ Bit of a wave before she does just that. ]

(ooc: Is it alright with you if we wrap up there? I have a new post up, if you'd like to have them talk more! But Meiling will pretty much only parrot things Patchouli has told her about Mayfield, so. XD; )
