So I had a call yesterday while I was out on the road from my friend at the place I used to live and he said that Cheech, my Chinchilla was dead. Apparently the person I had left in charge of feeding him until I could pick him up and move him here to my new place decided that starving a poor innocent animal was a good way to get back at the

Oh my God...I cannot believe someone would do that to such a darling innocent animal..That is truly disgusting and despicable. I am so sorry. I hope you do eventually meet that ugly bastard again and teach him some respect and responsibility. This just sickened me reading this.

But...a question..if he was kicked out, then why did your other roommates not take over care of Cheech? They should bear some responsibility about opening the door a week later knowing that they had kicked him out.

No it was just this Tuesday they kicked him out, went in there yesterday and found him. Even that being the case ya it would have been nice if they had checked on him but they had bought him food and asshole was like oh ya, I am taking care of him.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is a terrible feeling when a pet dies, because they become a part of your family. And not only that, for Cheech to die in such a way -- it's sick. This person obviously has no soul.
