Well, lots of stuff going on. I had just put my house on the market when I got a call from my sister. She told me that my niece had just found out the sub-type of her hodgkins, and it wasn't good. Getting ready to go to MY LAST TREATMENT!!!! I have been fighting cancer for about 8 years now, on and off. This may sound weird, but I can actually FEEL that that fight is finally over. Thank you to everybody who has been sending best wishes and words of encouragement. I am overwhelmed by the responses! To know that so many people care has a very big impact on my outlook and my mood. I am in my last week of chemo, four more treatments left!!!

Back from Florida. It was great to see my family, even though it was not the best cercumstances. I went to all my nieces docters appointments with her and my sister. Her bone marrow results came back on friday. CLEAN! So, she is in stage one or two of hodgkins. Stage one and two have a 90% cure rate! The treatments will be tough on her, but she ( Read more... )

Well, it looks like my niece might have Hodgkins lymphoma. They should know by the end of the week. The only thing she is upset about is not being able to move away to school.
