So yesterday I was at work. My employers had left out badges for us to wear that said things like "Stop the attack on Wisconsin workers," which is the one I ended up wearing, clipped to my name tag. Well, Charlie and Amelia left on Wednesday, and went up for adoption on Friday morning. I didn't even get a chance to see them on the website--when I called around noon, the woman who answered the phone said they had been the first ones to go that day! They took two of my kitties away! I went to get them all a checkup today, and since two of them were over two pounds and healthy, they said those two could get surgery and go up for adoption together. I thought they'd want to keep the litter together for socialization purposes, but I guess they just don't want to have ONE kitten by itself, and two ( Read more... )

So on Tuesday night, on a whim, I called the Humane Society and left a message asking if they had any kittens for me to foster, since they hadn't called me in a while.
