Kate had on her new prom dress, makeup, jewelry all set to go. Her hair was pulled up and back with a few tendrils hanging down the back. Her and Will were just outside the entrance to the stately country club where the event was being held.

She glanced over at him, and kissed his cheek, "Here we go."

Kate and Will had headed out back. It was late afternoon, the spring air still warmed from the sun. No weapons other than hand to hand today.

"Let me know when you're ready," Kate simply said to him.

They had just entered New York again, and Kate was about to hail a cab. There was a loud boom several blocks away but before she could take another step, there were figures in the sky already swooping in that direction.

"Looks like one of those days. Will, you ready?"

Kate was bustling around her room with Will. Making sure everything was ready for their shopping trip. Sparrow was whining a little as he paced around. Usually those kind of trips meant he couldn't come along since the stores had a silly rule against those with four legs.

"Hey Will, you about ready to go?" She called to him.

Kate was currently tuning up. There were refreshments set up in the kitchenette, and also out of puppy range. He's running around right now, sniffing the air with interest and wagging his tail. Will had made sure there was plenty for the guests, and some seating arrangements have been made near where Kate was sitting with her cello.

The sun was just rising up, and the couple were cuddling together in the cot in the cottage. Arms linked around each other, steady rise and fall of chests breathing in sleep. Kate had packed some belongings in simple cloth bags, figuring to use things likely to blend in for the time period. Also weapons that wouldn't look too modern either. The evening gown that showed up in her closet was clearly a sign of something being up, also the card with a room number on it from the bar counter.
