Hah! Proof!!

Sometimes people over here find it hard to believe it gets a lot hotter in the Netherlands in summers than it does in Ireland (since the Netherlands has the same reputation of being a cold and rainy country), and I've never looked for actual proof...I was just always going by my own observations of spending my fifth summer here now.

'Those' people must just be not wise ;p I still don't understand how 'people' think the Netherlands is just cold, wet or so far removed from the rest of Europe that it's experiencing winter ;p
