Growing up in the Netherlands, I never realized how spoiled I was. After living in Northern Ireland for 4 1/2 years, I totally do now.

It's that time of the year again: the start of the new television season. I am as itching as any American to view certain shows, and since I still don't have any TV channels, I sure as hell am not going to wait till they start showing on TV here. Quarter of a century old now. It's weird - I totally feel 25, and at the same time, I totally don't. I bet I'll keep calling myself 24 for another while cause I keep forgetting I am 25 now!

With my mom still staying with me, I've been doing a lot of sightseeing again. We're mostly trying to do things I haven't just done with my brother or aunt, which makes it cooler for me too.

We did a drive up the Antrim coast (where I hadn't been before), but it was quite foggy, so although the views were gorgeous, the photos didn't come out too ( Read more... )

My mom is staying with me at the moment, and that means that now all of my close relatives have stayed with me the past summer: my dad and stepmom, my brother, my aunt, and my mom. I guess they all enjoy my new house as much as I do. ;)

Just read on the internet that Steve Irwin passed away. Also known as The Crocidile Hunter. I loved that show and watched it many an afternoon after coming home from school. He always seemed like a really nice guy - it's a shame his love of dangerous animals became fatal for him.

I'm sitting in Dublin Connelly station, typing this. Connelly is the main train station in Dublin, and Brian and I are just back from another business meeting. We're a bit too early for the train back though (it goes in about an hour's time), hence the wait and me popping open my laptop.
