Yesterday, Steven and I went to Belfast together. It's not that far from where I live - only about 35-40 minutes by car. But since we are stuck with public transport, it takes 55 minutes by bus. Which wasn't so bad, we just listened to my iPod the whole way. :P

I landed in Holland yesterday morning, and oh my god, it's fucking hot here!

Hah! Proof!!

Sometimes people over here find it hard to believe it gets a lot hotter in the Netherlands in summers than it does in Ireland (since the Netherlands has the same reputation of being a cold and rainy country), and I've never looked for actual proof...I was just always going by my own observations of spending my fifth summer here now.

I went grocery shopping with a guy friend of mine who shall remain nameless. He picked me up, we both did our shopping, and he dropped me back home. As he was helping me carry my groceries in, we had this conversation:

I have been in my new house for 3 months now, can you believe it?? I paid rent for the third time on Tuesday. The time has flown by, but I feel like I've been in this house forever, and thank god I still love it!
