I went out to dinner at a sport's bar with my parents this evening...my mother with her cane and my father with his crutches. We were quite a sight. And then we sat at our table, not saying anything, my mom swaying to the horribly horrible emo-for-adults music that was on (ex: "everybody hurts")...and gosh, I must have teared up a couple times. I'm only about 60% sure that I'm right about this, but I think it's a pottery throwing term. I only think that because I think that's what my roommate called it. Either that, or it's that biking thing, which I'm actually about 90% sure about that. It's like aggressive immobile biking. It sounds pansy ass, but it's considered to be one of the most aggressive workouts available.

I don't know why I said pottery. I'm gonna go potterize someone's face now for making that mistake.

You were right with the biking. I would like to try throwing some pottery, although I don't think I would get the same rush.

Oh man, but was it intense. I was DRENCHED afterwards! Mmmm.

Spinning is what Tom said.

And you're gonna love the cd, once you give it some more play-time.

Oh man, was it crazy, I was thinking that you would love it. Maybe when you're home on break you can get a day-pass or however they do it for visitors/prospective clients. I know they offer one free pass, but they might take your info and haggle you about getting a membership...ehh.

Anyways, this class was like 45 minutes, and of varying difficulty - really beginner friendly, because you don't always have to turn up your intensity when they tell you to...oh but I did. And near the end there was this five minute period of simulated uphill biking, while standing up "in the saddle," with SO much resistance, and then "jumps," which were merely changes in hand position, but exhausting nonetheless...oh gosh. LOVED IT. OK! Later!

You make me laugh and i love it, out loud as in "LOL" in the library. I can totally see you spinning after working out... I laugh and then i get sad because i want to be there with you, while you smile and sweat and .. for everything. I miss you and am anxiously awaiting the letter and cd's you sent. COME ON POSTA!! (*pronounced poshta ;)

Mohalo,

Dan

p.s. i think i saw avenged sevenfold once and they were sorely disappointing, of course you and i often see eye to eye on music and if they have changed their style.. i'm in need of some new good music anyways. How do you like the cd i made you? i wanted to make a huge Mp3 one but the songs don't lable right with itunes and i know it'd drive you nuts not knowing who the bands were. <3 Danno
