OMG I was literally squealing from the sweetness during the middle of the fic! Jose was my favorites *beams*
then you did that……*runs away wailing*
But it was beautiful the way you wrote it and structured it. I don't leave comments often enough (*blush, working on it*), but I want to say I love your fics, ever since I read horsey the turtle > <
ha! Oh lord you were introduced to my fic through the Horsey saga? I'm sorry ;-P
thank you so much, I always intended the middle name to be a sweet part, a familiar part, if that makes sense. Once again, thank you so much for commenting.
breaking hearts left right & center, but I didn't really see this as sad. I mean sure there is a death at the end, but its more about Sergio remembering the way & how he loved Fernando idk.
I am so in love with this. The idea is beautiful and it was executed perfectly. I didn't realize before how their familiarity increases so easily with each name, the whole thing progresses perfectly.
“I must have been pretty good.” You tell him he was perfect and watch as his face turns even redder, bringing out his freckles. He mumbles into your chest. “Jose.” Without a doubt my favorite part. It's so sweet and sexy at the same time.
And I love when Fernando tells him “No, but I like it when you say it best.” .
Even though this piece isn't as long as a lot of your others, every scene feels like it carries a lot of weight. Nothing is wasted.
And then: He asks you if you’d like to see him, using his last name again. You think it’s the saddest word you’ve ever heard. It's such a sad thought. And the fact that Fernando loved hearing Sergio say that name, only for Sergio be filled with such despair later on because of it...
Obviously I need to get some proper sleep because I'm tearing up trying to comment on your comment (I didn't even cry while writing this fic).
The fact that you picked up on their familiarity, something that is obvious to me now, after rereading it, but I didn't even do intentionally, is just.........gosh you are just so wonderfully perceptive.
I love making Fernando blush, this is a weakness of mine, well that & his smile.

And the fact that Fernando loved hearing Sergio say that name, only for Sergio be filled with such despair later on because of it this is where I started tearing up, because damn that is sad & I guess I didn't really see this as a really sad fic until reading that-it was a fic w/a character death yes, but I think, for me, it was more about Sergio remembering how & why he loved Fernando.
