mental health diagnoses - yay or nay?

Oh man. I feel like there is a lot of this going around our age group right now. Diagnoses, mental health queries, etc. I'm gonna attempt to be pithy ( ... )

(and now for the pro side...jk i totally agree with brandi and she will probably agree with me, we just feel it different i think).

i think for you and me especially, having a word, a name to hold on to makes everything easier, more clear, sharpens our minds' grasp of what we're dealing with. and i think for you and me especially, we know that words and names are never the whole truth, and sometimes they are total lies. i want you to feel totally empowered to use the diagnoses/treatments for add/adhd to your benefit, even if that also serves the interests of the medical industrial complex. we could talk more about this, and about my personal/familial history with mental illness labels. take care love carolyn
